Letter from our Chairperson
It is my privilege to present the 2025 Impact Report on behalf of the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.
This report refl ects an organization guided by purpose and positioned for continued progress. It represents more than annual performance. It demonstrates how thoughtful leadership, responsible stewardship, and a clear vision for the future continue to shape the Airports Authority and strengthen its role across our region and beyond.
The aviation industry continues to evolve in ways that require focus, adaptability, and sound decision making. As stewards of this organization, the Board remains committed to ensuring that the Airports Authority continues to meet this moment with discipline and foresight. Our responsibility is to help position our airports for long term success while preserving the public trust that has defi ned this institution for decades.
Throughout the past year, the Airports Authority has continued to demonstrate what is possible when purpose guides action. Across every area of the organization, there is a shared commitment to excellence that strengthens our capacity to serve the traveling public, support regional prosperity, and prepare for the future with confi dence.
This report captures that collective effort and the principles that make it possible. It refl ects an organization that understands its responsibility as a public asset and embraces its opportunity to lead with integrity, vision, and accountability.
