Board Committees
The board of directors comprises eight committees. As required by the Airports Authority’ s bylaws, the board chair establishes the committee chairs, membership and jurisdictions. Information regarding the membership and scope of each committee is accessible to the public on the Airports Authority’ s website. The committees include:

The board chair is an appointed member of the board elected each year by vote of the full Board of Directors and may serve up to two consecutive one-year terms. The board chair position rotates jurisdictionally among appointed state and federal members. In 2025, board member Thorn Pozen completed his term as board chair and passed the charge to board member Mark Uncapher.
The Board’ s work extends well beyond governance meetings. Through meaningful engagement with employees, community partners and stakeholders, our directors help guide decisions that advance transparency, foster collaboration and support the Airports Authority’ s mission of serving the region with excellence.
