Caring for Those Who Serve

During FY25, Peer Support expanded its reach with 11 newly certified members, advanced training efforts, and continued response to employee crises. The team provided compassionate support following employee and family deaths, supervisee fatalities, and critical incidents— upholding DCS’ s commitment to caring for those who protect Georgia’ s communities.

Intelligence & Technology

Innovation Driving Safer Communities

Throughout FY25, the Intelligence Unit continued its critical work in partnership with GISAC, the FBI, and the GBI— supporting multi-jurisdictional investigations, identifying emerging threats, and advancing gang-focused initiatives.

Together, these efforts reinforce Special Operations’ focus on protecting communities, strengthening partnerships, and supporting effective supervision through strategic, consistent, and service-driven action.
