MATT HOBBS
Former CEO, Motor Trades Association of Australia
Matt Hobbs previously served as CEO of the Motor Trades Association of Australia( MTAA), where he played a key role during the Australian Government’ s development of the New Vehicle Efficiency Standard. He brings extensive experience across the automotive and aviation sectors, having held senior executive roles with the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries, GM Holden, and internationally with General Motors, Nissan Motors and Tiger Airways.
Matt has also worked in government, including as an adviser to the Minister for Tourism during the iconic“ Where the bloody hell are you?” advertising campaign.
CHRISTINE HUMPHREYS
Fleet Coordinator, Endeavour Foundation
Over the past year, I have served as Fleet Coordinator at Endeavour Foundation, where I developed a working knowledge of fleet management systems, strengthened my financial oversight skills, and nurtured strong client relationships.
Outside of work, I enjoy rebuilding cars with my husband and his family, which has deepened my appreciation for the fleet industry. I also enjoy performing with my dance group and spending time with my young daughter. Working for Endeavour Foundation has been especially meaningful to me because its mission aligns with my own values, making my day-to-day work feel purposeful and fulfilling.

Darren Holland is a senior leader, consultant, trainer and coach with 26 years of experience in the areas of leadership and management, marketing, sales, consumer experience and strategic planning. Starting his career with Ford and working with Good Year / Beaurepaires and Nissan in various Sales, Marketing and Strategic Planning Roles, he moved into the consulting and training space, running his training and consulting company, Moyleen.
Since 2016, he has been partnering with AfMA and Swinburne to design, deliver, and assess the Diploma of Leadership and Management, and is very proud to have worked with over 100 graduates who have received their testamur.

Sarah Johnson is a fleet industry expert who has worked successfully across multiple industries, channels, and countries with a focus on the Motor Vehicle industry in multiple forms for over 20 years.
Sarah has a unique and intimate understanding of the Australian Motor Industry’ s operational and sales landscape, from dealer to OEM to corporate customer to consumer.
Experience leading and executing projects across Vehicle Finance, Fleet Operational Management, Procurement and Contract Management, OEM, Dealership, Driver Safety Programs, Vehicle Telematics Programs, Sales, Relationship Management, Project and Program Management, Fleet Transformation Journeys including EV transition plans for ASX listed companies.
STEFAN HOLZSCHUH
Specialist in Battery Diagnostics and Fleet Electrification Strategies
Stefan Holzschuh is a specialist in battery diagnostics and fleet electrification strategies, with a strong background in automotive engineering. He focuses on data-driven approaches to battery health monitoring and degradation prognosis in fleet management systems. Stefan has contributed to advancements in battery health monitoring and ageing prediction, emphasizing accurate modeling of battery packs and state of health estimation. His work highlights the importance of health monitoring and ageing-aware charging strategies to extend the useful lifetime of electric vehicles.

KATHARINE KEMP
Associate Professor – Faculty of Law & Justice( University of NSW)
A / Prof Katharine Kemp is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law and Justice, UNSW Sydney, and leads the UNSW Public Interest Law & Tech Initiative. She is also a part-time member of the Australian Competition Tribunal. Katharine lectures Data Privacy Law and Contracts, and leads research projects on data privacy, consumer protection and competition regulation. She has published widely in these fields, including the 2024 report,“ Driving Blind: The Unexamined Privacy Risks of Connected Cars”. Katharine’ s PhD addressed misuse of market power regulation and received the UNSW PhD Excellence Award in 2016. Earlier in her career, she practised as a commercial lawyer at major law firms and as a barrister at the Victorian Bar.
