Canyon has nature trails with a gorge , wildflowers and forest ecology .
• Pickleball – Combining tennis and ping-pong , pickleball appeals to a variety of ages as a lifelong activity . Dedicated courts can be found at Bass Lake playfields . Tennis courts are also lined for pickleball at Bass Lake , Parkers Lake , Plymouth , and Zachary playfields .
• Disc golf – Plymouth has two free disc golf courses at Plymouth Creek Playfield , 3625 Fernbrook Lane and Zachary Playfield , 4355 Zachary Lane .
• Personal watercraft rental racks for canoes and kayaks are available at five city parks : East Medicine Lake Park , Mooney Lake , Parkers Lake Park , Pomerleau Lake and West Medicine Lake Park .

Playfields primarily serve organized recreation . Most playfields include fields , courts , trails and playgrounds .

• Park hours – Neighborhood parks : 6 a . m . to 10 p . m .; playfields : 6 a . m . to 10:30 p . m .; special use parks vary by site .
• Parks and facilities are alcohol and tobacco-free .
• Pets must always be leashed . Owners must pick up and dispose of pet waste .
• No golfing allowed .
Trails
Plymouth ’ s trails make it easy to get from neighborhoods to commercial areas and to many picturesque areas like Medicine Lake and Parkers Lake . The city works with other jurisdictions to link city trails to those in neighboring communities and regional trails .
