The National Plan to End Parkinson ’ s Act ( H . R . 2365 / S . 1064 ), the legislation being spearheaded by MJFF and solely dedicated to ending Parkinson ’ s , was reintroduced in 2023 . By midyear , more than 19,000 Americans had contacted their members of Congress urging them to push for passage of the bill , which as of this writing has gained the support of 104 members of the House of Representatives and 11 senators . The bipartisan bill is led by Senators Shelley Moore Capito ( R-WV ) and Chris Murphy ( D-CT ) and Representatives Gus Bilirakis ( R-FL ) and Paul Tonko ( D-NY ).
