Creating Opportunities for Success : Supplier Diversity
The DEI Team has been hard at work unlocking opportunities for small businesses . In March , the team hosted its Meet the Primes events with over 80 small business owners in attendance . The event was an amazing opportunity for small businesses to establish meaningful connections with prime contractors and uncover opportunities that could potentially benefit all stakeholders .
Primes presenting were Ricondo & Associates , Wood Equipment , and Brightview Landscape Services . Those in attendance were able to learn how to grow their business through subcontracting opportunities , and how to become certified as an SLBE . In addition , we held a one-on-one matchmaking session where stakeholders were able to have more focused conversations about possible contracting opportunities .
