BUILDING SUSTAINABILITY CONNECTIONS
Our ESG SteerCo is responsible for aligning our sustainability efforts with the business strategy , championing the efforts throughout the organization , advancing sustainability communications , and helping to identify , provide and approve resources to implement our program .
The SteerCo provides input to and receives feedback from our Board and supports our Sustainability Network .
Over 80 volunteers served as office and regional representatives within our Sustainability Network in FY22 , sharing insights and promoting sustainability initiatives . The network has monthly video calls , as well as smaller team efforts , focused on developing and sharing best practices . We utilize monthly talking points for meetings , sustainability blog posts and discussion boards , webinars for awareness building and office green team meetings .
Within the network , we also have formed workgroups focused on office energy reduction , recycling and waste reduction , communications and community engagement initiatives .
In addition to our Sustainability Coordinators , our Network includes market-facing professionals from various technical practices and business development functions . The team shares market insights and promotes broader awareness via webinars regarding TRC sustainability and climate solutions with the goal of driving sustainable solutions for our clients .
Our sustainability efforts are supported by many others throughout the organization in various ways , and we invite all our employees to actively participate and contribute .
