CAPE MAY , NJ - Auxiliary Health Services ( AUX-HS ) qualified member John “ Jack ” Salvia augments and supports the Coast Guard Health Services Clinic as a Physician Assistant providing medical care to recruit companies and enlisted members at Training Center Cape May ( TRACEN ).

The Coast Guard Auxiliary is composed of many skilled members , some of whom are trained , qualified , licensed , or registered to perform many of the same health care activities that are performed by active duty personnel . Some Auxiliarists are willing to perform these health care activities on a volunteer basis for the Coast Guard .
