STANDARD POLICIES & PROCEDURES
SMOKING POLICY
This is important: Smoking is prohibited on all of 360 Blue properties. Naturally,
smoking is also prohibited during the pickup and drop off of linens at the
warehouse and during the transportation of linen to and from your clean.
Warehouse employees are not allowed to give linens to team leads or their
cleaners if they have been smoking in their vehicle or outside the warehouses.
There are NO exceptions. If a crew member is found smoking at or near their
assigned home, or near linens, the crew will be fined $50.
POLICIES REGARDING THE DISCOVERY OF DRUG, FIREARMS
AND WEAPONS
If you or someone on your team finds drugs, a firearm and/or a weapon inside a
unit, do not touch the item(s) under any circumstances. You are to immediately
contact your Supervisor of Housekeeping and report what you have found. Since
the entire interior of a home/unit is to be cleaned with each assignment, we
expect firearms, weapons, and drugs left behind by a previous guest to be
discovered before the next guest or the owner arrives. Under no circumstances
should a guest or owner find any of the above upon arrival.
As a Housekeeper for 360 Blue, you are expected to open every drawer
and look under all beds and furniture during the cleaning process. Quality
Assurance (QA) team members are expected to thoroughly inspect each home.
Should an accident occur due to an undiscovered firearm or drugs left behind by a
previous guest, the consequences would be severe. It’s critical that everyone
within Housekeeping understands the significance of this issue. Should any of
the above be found in a unit by an arriving guest or owner, the QA and cleaner
assigned to prepare that unit for that day will be terminated immediately.
ASSIGNED ENTRY CODES POLICY
Each company will be provided an access code to their assigned properties. It’s
the responsibility of the Team Leads to ensure codes are kept internally with
their team and not shared within anyone outside the team. For security reasons,
assigned entry codes are updated on a monthly basis. If, for some reason, an issue
arises, the team’s code that was last used will be held responsible. Do not share
codes.
POLICY REGARDING LOCKED DOORS AND WINDOWS
Upon exiting your assigned home/unit, ALL doors and windows must be closed,
locked and secured. If a door or window is found unsecured, the Housekeeping
Crew will be fined $20 per violation. Many of our homes have 3-point locks. A
3-point locking system bolts the door into the frame and locks at multiple points
at the turn of a key, providing a high level of security. To engage the 3-point lock
