“ He is a very organized, clean, and repetitive person.”
Living with my roommate has been great and we haven’ t encountered any problems at all. I say we are comfortable sharing a room and no real big challenge have appeared. We don’ t argue or yell or say things to each other, we are respectful of one another and mindful of one another’ s things. I learned that she likes to eat food and binge watch movies and tv shows.- Angela
My roommate is Alex Valero, and to be honest I’ m a huge observer of individuals, especially when they’ re around me as often. He is a very organized, clean, and repetitive person. I’ m not necessarily super clean, nor am I super dirty, I fall somewhere in the middle. Not to mention I’ m quite adaptable and so ill sacrifice habits to make sure there isn’ t any conflict. We both respect each other’ s personal space and belongings. I’ ve noticed that I’ m a pretty loud roommate, I like loud music and I talk loud, so I probably bother Alex a lot, being that he is the opposite of me. But I would like to say that I catch myself bothering him or keeping him from, and then I’ ll leave or quiet down respectively.-Christopher
My roommate is pretty cool and very quiet. She likes to help me keep our room clean and all that stuff. She and I don’ t really have any problems because we both have set boundaries on what we can and cannot do. What I learned about myself is that I’ m kind of wild because I’ m really loud at times, fangirling mostly.- Divina

I really like my roommate, I must admit at first it was a little awkward, but now we talk a lot more. I’ ve gotten to learn more about her and I figured out that we can relate to each other in many situations. This experience has taught me how to be more respectful for others and to speak about what bothers me so we won’ t have any conflict. One thing I’ ve learned about myself and my roommate is that nothing really bothers us and I also learned that she is very shy and nice. I found it really easy to talk to her and I really like that she is willing to listen to me talk. In conclusion, I appreciate the roommate I got.- Daisy
I love my roommate! Britney and I have been friends since seventh grade and she is the one who convinced me to give this program a chance. This is our third summer rooming together and each year feels just as good as the previous, sometimes even better! She’ s very accommodating and even though she stays up till insane times, she turns out the lights, puts in headphones, and whispers whenever she calls someone. She’ s even tucked me back in when I kicked my blankets off in the middle of the night! And whenever I need to talk about something that’ s upsetting me she always lends and ear and gives me her full attention. She’ s been one of the most supportive people I’ ve ever met and I hope that we stay just as close when the program’ s over.- Elizabeth
My roommate, drake, is ok. He has a couple of odd habits, like he can’ t go to sleep without his music on. And it can get annoying. This week, drake is not here so I have the room to myself until next week, which is good I guess- Nate
My roommate is very shy but indeed very mysterious. Both my roommate and I are Libras and we both have problems going to sleep but we both also have a lot of differences. For example I prefer to have the AC on full blast while she prefers the room to be REAL toasty. I also discovered that I wake up to early in the morning, apparently average time to wake up is thirty minutes but I take about an hour.- Herminia
My roommate has similarities that can be closely related to mine, especially where we are from. She’ s a nice person whom I have gotten closer to, due to emotional distress and in need of someone to talk to. Problems with my roommate aren’ t many, just little things that I’ m not used to see in other people. Challenges that I have are usually things such as the restroom area, the dorm, the amount of time that I have to do things, for example, my personal time. I’ ve learned that I can be independent and strong in my own ways. The situations that I’ m put into don’ t really change who I am, but what I can do to overcome these problems.- Izabella
I think my roommate is very nice and outgoing so she cool. I have a challenge in geometry to solve an equation if I do I will feel like I accomplished my long life fight with math. I learned that I am really reserved In a new environment which I will have to work on in the future so that I will be myself and comfortable with it. my roommate is very giving she has a lot of family members and her cousin is also in a program at UTA, and she is also home sick.- Jalisa
