I recently started the summer pro- gram last Sunday and I’m liking it so far. Even though the college classes and the material that the professors are teaching is kind of hard, I can still manage to understand some of the content that they are trying to teach. One thing that I like about the summer program is that they assign you classes that you are going to take in the fall during your next school year. -Rafael Living on campus can be a great experience. One of the things that I enjoyed the most was that I got to meet people from all over the state of Texas. I also had the ability to be- come great friends with all of them. This experience made me become more comfortable going to a college further away from home. -Richard I really like living on campus, it gives me the experience of living on my own. (Even though my mother messages me every day and every 20 minutes) I am not used to being away from home, but it’s really fun to be here meeting all these new people and making new friends. Being here at this collage is giving me the full experience of what going away for collage is going to be like, and it has made me feel more com- fortable about leaving in a few more years. - Shirley “The dorms can get noisy and crowded, but the RA’s do a good job of keeping us all in one piece.”
