Richard Meza, is my roommate, and he is a very cool person. We both play soccer and like the same things. We always get salad first when we get into the cafeteria. We both like cookies, canes, wing stop, etc. I have learned that Richard is hardheaded and slow. - Jared So living on campus is pretty cool it gives me almost the full college experience, I like the fact that we get to roam around campus freely and with almost no supervision. To get to my classes was kind of hard because at first I didn’t know where the classrooms were, and what floor they were on but after of couple of I would rate my roommate a 10 be- days roaming around campus got a cause he really is not a disturbance lot easier and I found short cuts to at all. Luckily it was somebody I get to my classes faster. -Rafael knew from before. I surprisingly had no challenges either because he and My roommate is Angela, she is I agreed on the things we needed for really nice and a cool roommate she our suite. Other than that I learned doesn’t take my stuff without my about how patient I am and to get permission and were also friends out of the comfort zone. -Martin so it’s great having here as a room- mate. Our only challenge is to wake Well my roommate is my twin up on time and go to bed on time. I sister who I have been living with have learned that I am more open to since the womb, so nothing dif- things than I thought I was and that ferent. We have been fighting a lot Angela is more nice and outgoing lately because stress with school than she seems to be, I’m proud to and family things. I’ve learned that have her as my roommate. -Shirley both of us calm down when we’re with our friends. Desire can be very controlling at times and bossy, but I think that’s only so because I feel like she think no one listen’s to her. I’ve learned about myself that am not as shy and not as quiet when I’m around people I know and feel com- fortable. I feel like I tend to be very bossy and unintentionally mean at times. This makes me uneasy be- cause I don’t want people to think I’m mean. I have many challenges to face and overcome. - Ocean Thankfully I was roomed with my best friend. We have many similar- ities and we also have many differ- ences. For example we both love to play soccer and have the same favorite teams. - Richard My roommate is really cool. Even though we don’t really talk that much besides to ask a question, or to make sure each other is ok with something we are quite. I like that me and her get along and that the room can be quite instead of loud or talkative all the time. She likes going over to the room next door with some of her friends in her grade but I’m ok with that because then it gives me some time to do other things and to play music without feeling like I’m bothering her. I’ve learned that I’m a lot quieter than I thought I was, and that I am differ- ent and finding myself better. -Veronica “I prefer to have the AC on full blast while she prefers the room to be REAL toasty.”
