Exact Match Matters It is extremely important that you place each Barcode Permit on its assigned item. Think of them as a license plate issued by the MVA - you cannot place a license plate on just any vehicle; you must place it on the specific one it is assigned to. The same is true for all of your Barcode Permits. They are each unique and assigned to specific items on your account. Old Parking Permit Reminder If you still have the “hang tag” parking permit on your rear view mirror, throw it away as it is no longer valid. The only official parking pass of the LLA since June 2016 is your Barcode Auto Permit that is affixed to your vehicle window. Having an old hang tag will not prevent towing under any circumstances. Repel Ticks on Skin and Clothing -Use repellent that contains 20 percent or more DEET, picaridin, or IR3535 on exposed skin for protection that lasts several hours. -Always follow product instructions. Parents should apply this product to their children, avoiding hands, eyes, and mouth. -Use products that contain permethrin on clothing. Treat clothing and gear, such as boots, pants, socks and tents with products containing 0.5% permethrin. It remains protective through several washings. Pre-treated clothing is available and may be protective longer. -The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has an online tool to help you select the repellent that is best for you and your family. Find more information on the CDC webpage at https://www.cdc. gov/ticks/avoid/on_people.html Dumping of Yard Waste Dumping of yard waste on common property throughout LLA is strictly prohibited. Yard Waste Pickup is available every Wednesday from April 12th through December 13th. Help keep the trails and other common areas clean and beautiful!
