“ Garden & Yard Maintenance”

The rain has brought out some beautiful flower filled gardens— however these gardens can quickly get out of control. It is very important for homeowners to address the overgrown trees, weeds, plants, and grass timely so that fellow residents can enjoy the beautiful gardens, without enduring the bugs and animals that overgrown areas tend to attract and house.
Homeowners are responsible for maintaining the appearance of their gardens and should mow, weed, and edge regularly to ensure that it fits in with their neighborhood’ s ambiance. Not only does maintaining the growth of the plants around your home promote a visually aesthetic neighborhood, but it also can prevent wear and tear on your home. Often times, plants touching homes create a moisture pocket which breeds mildew / mold, as well as attracts unwanted pests.
Keep in mind that homeowners are responsible for all the yard waste that comes with maintaining the lawn / garden. Homeowners are encouraged to utilize yard waste pickup provided on Wednesdays. Residents must use disposable paper‘ lawn bags’ OR a container clearly labeled‘ Yard Waste’. Only yard waste that is properly presented at the curb will be picked up. Yard waste containers can be up to 30 gallons. The trash contractor will not pick up yard waste in plastic bags. Leaves, grass and clippings must be placed curbside by 7am on Wednesdays for Yard Waste Pickup. Sticks and limbs must be bundled, and bundles may not be larger than 3 x 3 feet in size. Sod and / or dirt are not accepted.
