Safety Spotlight Cruds & Drugs April 2017 Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Do you need to dispose of household hazardous waste, old electronics or documents? If so, please join us for our upcoming spring cleaning event. The event allows residents to not only dispose of household hazardous waste, but also gives residents a place to shred sensitive documents and recycle unwanted electronics. In order to participate in the event you must be a Southlake resident and be able to provide proof of residency the morning of the event. Please bring a copy of your current water bill or a valid drivers license. The collection time is 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or until the collection vehicles have reached their capacity. Accepted Spring Cleaning Event—Crud Cruiser Dragon Stadium Saturday, April 15th 09:00 am - 11:00 am or until full Commercial waste is not accepted. Not available on the day of the event? Not Accepted  Automotive fluids  Ammunition & explosives  Batteries  Appliances & electronics  Cleaners & Chemicals  Building materials  Cooking Oil  Bulk trash & yard waste  Lawn/garden/pool  Propane cylinders  Light bulbs  Medical waste  Paint  Asbestos Latex paint can be placed in your household trash, if it completely dried out. As a Southlake resident you are able to drop off your household hazardous waste at the Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center. When dropping off at the center you will need to provide proof of residency by providing your current driver’s license showing a Southlake address.
