The Role of the Student
Assignment Center during
Options Open Enrollment
Our Student Assignment Center (SAC) is responsible for
managing the Options Enrollment school assignment process.
The SAC Placement Specialists ensure that all applications
received are checked, verified that they are correct, and
entered into the lottery based upon the identified priority of
the applicant. It is the duty of the SAC to safeguard the lottery
process to ensure that all families have a fair opportunity to
be assigned to one of their schools of choice.
The SAC has a number of Placement Specialists that can help
you. Most of our Placement Specialists can speak a language
other than English and are available to ensure that all families
obtain the services they need. If a family speaks a language
