Brittany Nicole Adams is a native of Houston, Texas, and advanced to Central Christian College of Kansas on an athletic basketball scholarship majoring in sports medicine with a minor in visual art. While enrolled in drawing classes under the instruction of Kansas native Naomi Ullum, she created a piece for the musician and songwriter Prince and gained global recognition. The piece was entitled“ Predestined” and resided in Paisley Park Studios in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The following year, Brittany transferred to Hampton University to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts.
While attending Hampton University, she created six pieces that will remain on Hampton’ s campus after her departure. She has become a celebrated artist on Hampton’ s campus and in the International African American Journal Reviews. While at Hampton, she created two pieces for Hampton University President William R. Harvey’ s personal collection, one piece for Tom Joyner when Hampton University was the HBCU of the Month, a mural for the Marriage and Family Thirty-Fourth Annual Conference, and a piece for the Hampton University Institute Proton Therapy Center. Among completing her tenure at Hampton University, Brittany will be attending Eastern Virginia Medical School advancing in her Master’ s Degree program. Brittany inspires to become an Art Therapist / Counselor.
Myiah Davis, a born and raised Georgia peach, is a Senior Biochemistry major at Hampton University. Myiah currently is a member of the Hampton University Freddye T. Davy Honors College, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., The Greer Dawson Wilson Student Leadership Training Program, Golden Key National Honor Society, Alpha Mu Gamma National Language Honor Society, The Hampton University Chemistry Club, and is a Master Facilitator for the Hampton University Young Diplomats Summer Program. While remaining active in all of the organizations she belongs, Myiah finds time to support her Hampton University Pirates athletic teams, be creative through drawing and painting, and maintain a fun, upbeat, positive attitude. Myiah is going to graduate Hampton University and pursue the medical career of an Anesthesiologist.
Sarah Joyce Berryhill is a Senior Biochemistry major leadership studies minor form Long Island, New York. She has been a member of the Freddye T. Davy Honors College since the Spring of 2011. Sarah J. is a very active member on the campus of Hampton University. She is involved and has held positions in the Chemistry Club, Above Deck Tap Dance Ensemble, The Blue Lightening Pep Squad, and is a member of the Kappa chapter of Beta Kappa Chi Science Honor Society. She is a proud member of the Gamma Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated and works with her sorority to transform lives and impact communities. Sarah J. makes time to balance her
