• On May 14, 2010, NAMCA FC with the Board, as mandated
by the NAMCA constitution met to discuss the
candidates interested in serving in NAMCA leadership and
constitutional amendments proposed ahead of the
upcoming 11th AGM. Recommendations on potential
candidates and constitutional amendments were made to the
NAMCA AGM.
NAMCA FC elected new FC leadership with a term limit of
2 years (June 1, 2010 to May 31, 2012) comprising:
Chairperson - Franco Wantsala
Vice Chairperson - Stephen Khaukha
NAMCA Founders Council: Request to Board for attention
• Develop NAMCA FC e-mail list serve for ease of
communication
• Add NAMCA FC member profiles at the NAMCA website
NAMCA Founders Council: Future Plans
• Develop a 10 year strategic plan that will assist NAMCA FC to
implement her terms of reference.
• Pursue extra-mural funding for NAMCA in collaboration with
the Board. Currently two grants that include NAMCA as
a collaborator have been submitted for funding (funding
decision pending) in collaboration with North Dakota State
University researchers.
• Start a NAMCA Foundation.
• Develop a strategy to market a positive image of NAMCA
