T H E N E W FAC E O F T H E Nursing Professional Practice Model The UNC Hospitals Professional Practice Model (PPM) underwent an exciting transformation in design in 2009. A committee worked in conjunction with the nursing Shared Governance Practice Council to develop a new model that would graphically depict the elements of nursing practice at UNC Hospitals. The committee included Dr. Overview Tonges, Chair of the Practice Council Christa Seaman, BSN, RN, CCRN, Associate Chief Nursing Officer Cathy providing excellence in patient care in accordance with the Madigan, RN, MSN, NEA-BC, Director of Nursing Professional Practice Model.
