INGREDIENTS :
2 cups rice 3 cups water 1 / 4 cup rice vinegar 2 Tbsp sugar 1 tsp salt
DIRECTIONS :
thoroughly rinse rice under cold water .
Bring soaked rice & water to a boil .
Cover with a lid .
Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer & cook for about 20 minutes .
With lid on remove from heat & let it sit for 10 minutes .
Meanwhile combine the vinegar , sugar & salt .
After letting rice stand for 10 minutes pour the liquid into the rice .
Mix well & let it sit with closed lid till somewhat cooled .
Press rice into a donut mold to form rice donuts .
KANI SALAD RECIPE :
1 lb . Kani
3 Persian cucumber ( julienned )
1 / 2 bag shredded carrots 1 / 2 cup Mayonnaise 1 Tbsp Sriracha
DIRECTIONS :
Slice cucumber in half & remove the seeds by scraping them out with a spoon .
Then slice it into thin slices .
Shred the kani & add the carrots .
In a bowl mix the mayonnaise & sriracha .
Add the dressing to the salad & mix .
Top with tricolored sesame seeds .
