Autism:
To be Understood and
Seeking a Place in an
Adult World
- Iffah Nabilah Ramlee
When someone has a
significant problem
of health or growth,
especially when your loved ones
are involved, it is impossible to
turn a blind eye. One of them is
autism, something that more and
more people are conscious of
because autism is a behavioural
condition that occurs in early
infancy as early as 10 to 12
months, and definitely 18
months. What is autism
anyways?
Autism is a type of brain
disease which limits the ability
of an individual to communicate
and relate to others. Those who
have autism have different
capabilities, some part of them
have the potential to conquer
their planet, others have
incredible abilities and some are
unable to communicate. Autism
involve around one in 59 babies,
including about four times as
many boys as girls do.
Autism is the most prevalent
diagnosis in a similar cluster of
conditions, also known as ASDs,
autism spectrum disorders.Other
disorders that are related to the
autism spectrum are asperger’s
syndrome and pervasive
developmental disorder. It can
be difficult to diagnose autism
and other autism spectrum
disorders as the symptoms and
standard of impairment, ranging
from mild to severe, are very
much different for every child.
