#6 5G Mobile Network Can
Spread COVID-19
This myth is trending in social media as the conspiracy
theories that want to link with COVID-19. In the United
Kingdom, some of the 5G towers have been set on fire
because of this myth.
World Health Organization (WHO) also stated that
viruses absolutely cannot travel via radio waves and
mobile networks. The countries that have no 5G mobile
network still being infected by COVID-19.
This myth is so ridiculous and did not make sense to
try to link the 5G with the coronavirus. The frequencies
of 5G cannot harm our body.
A medical director from the UK, Professor Stephen
Powis called the myth between 5G and COVID-19 as
‘outrageous’ and ‘absolute and utter rubbish’.

Drinking Water Every
15 Minutes Will Kill
the Virus
A doctor from Japan claims to drink water every 15
minutes to remove the virus from the body through the
urinary system. The post has been trending on social media
and was shared over 250,000 times.
But it was later proven to be a myth when Professor
Trudie Lang from the University of Oxford informed that
there is no evidence that shows the correlation between the
virus especially respiratory type virus such as COVID-19
and one’s water intake frequency. He said, logically, viruses
can only be fought with a human’s immune system.
However, drinking water is important for the body to stay
hydrated, therefore, keep on drinking your water because it is
necessary - Not because it can kill COVID-19.
