MISS BOMB and Doodie Power. All three top finishers in this class had strong sup­ port from the crowd in their effort to win one of those coveted Celebration blues. The highly promoted and proven champion ACE’S SENSATION and Wink Groover finished reserve after making a strong bid for the class honors. THE ENTER­ TAINER and Joe Webb made their patented fine show to claim the third-place honors. David Welsh proved his horse is a legitimate contend­ er for the Grand Championship with a surpris­ ingly strong fourth-place finish. THE SENATOR, eventual Grand Champion, finished fifth in this class after not being selected for the final four- horse workout.
