BLUE'S MARY DOLL and Jimmy Hicks proved
to be all blue in this class as they defeated
some top mares for the title. Jimmy and his
horse have been winners for several years but
this victory called even greater attention to their
ability. The reserve award went to another prov
en winner. GO BOV'S DARK LADY and Horace
Young, as they made a strong bid in the final
14-horse workout. The state of Virginia was
represented in the top three by the third-place
winner. MISS BOMB and Doodie Power. All
three top finishers in this class had strong sup
port from the crowd in their effort to win one
of those coveted Celebration blues.
