to think that to do a little with their poor attitude is good enough. Scripture is
incredibly clear that God will never settle for second place. When one looks at the
sin of Cain in Genesis 4, his sin was the sin of half-hearted worship, where he gave to
God the leftovers of his life. The thing that impressed God about Abel’s offering
however, was that his offering was meaningful and given with a whole heart. The
opposite of half-hearted worship is obviously whole-hearted worship. Just read the
Psalms and one gets a picture of what whole-hearted worship looks like. Just look
too the life of the apostle Paul and again you will see a beautiful picture of wholehearted worship. The words of God to the church in Ephesus in Revelation 2, ring
