What projects are you currently working on ? The Richards Boulevard Office Complex , a $ 1.03 billion project that will include office buildings , a dining hall , wellness center , child care center , café , a 300-seat auditorium and multi-mode transportation ; Sacramento Commons , two seven-story buildings on 5th Street with a total of 438 units ; Edward Kemble TK-3 / Cesar Chavez 4-6 , where we ’ re combining two elementary schools into one for 850 students to allow more space on campus for ( amenities ); and building a new campus for Nicholas Elementary School TK-6 .

How is your industry changing ? We are continuing to see the industry evolve … into a mindset of collaboration , shared risk and reward with a real focus on relationships . This is something that I am passionate about in the industry — valuing all the players in the built industry and their respective expertise so that we can come together to build great things in a collaborative environment . I think the industry is in such a unique position right now . There are so many competing forces and economic trends that I have never seen converge in over 25 years in this business . … There is an abundance of work on the horizon , a shortage of workers , rising construction costs and an incoming infrastructure bill with billions in work . Yet , there is talk of a potential recession on the horizon . So many mixed economic indicators for the industry and I think we will continue to be in uncharted territory for the next few years . The key to success in a market like this is adaptability and agility .
