12 – 14 T12 – T14
The T12 / 13 pairing is the second left-right chicane on the track, and is followed very soon after by the little kink of T14- then a long curving left. Lowes enjoys the final sector of the track, which he says really starts from that T12 / 13 chicane.“ It is quite slow when you come out of the chicane, then there is the long left down towards the last complex. I enjoy that bit.”
Lowes kedveli a pálya utolsó szekcióját.

T15 and T16 offer the only right / left chicane at Balaton- but a third significant‘ real’ chicane in its own right. T17 is the last chance for a pass, but you would have to set it up from the entry point of T15. In summation, Sam Lowes says of the Balaton Park layout,“ The whole track is quite difficult- a lot of chicanes, a lot of braking, and it is one of those tracks where if you mess one corner up, it leads all the way into the next one.” |
