T9 – T11

The De Bult left, Mandeveen double-right and Duikersloot longer right have more flow to them than the track map suggests, and allow the best riders to line up for the next absolutely vital sections in the best possible fashion.

De Bult naar links, Mandeveen naar rechts en Duikersloot ook naar rechts hebben meer flow dan de plattegrond van het circuit doet vermoeden en stellen de beste coureurs in staat om zich op de best mogelijke manier klaar te maken voor de volgende, cruciale secties.

T12 – T15

Meeuwenmeer, Hoge Heide and Ramshoek are names straight out of racing mythology, as the true nature of the old road course shines through and big speeds register on the datalogger memory cards. American rider Garrett Gerloff says T15 is his favourite Assen corner, just as the track leaves the‘ countryside’ and re-enters the‘ stadium’.“ My favourite is the fast left hander coming into the stadium section,” said Garrett.“ It is normally one of my worst sectors, so I am not saying I am good there- but it is just a cool vibe and atmosphere when you come into that stadium section. You can see all the people cheering in the grandstands.”

Meeuwenmeer, Hoge Heide en Ramshoek zijn namen die rechtstreeks uit de racemythologie komen, omdat de ware aard van het oude circuit hier tot uiting komt en hoge snelheden worden geregistreerd op de geheugenkaarten van de dataloggers. Je ziet alle mensen juichen op de tribunes.”

The corners leading to the‘ GT’ Chicane are some of the most atmospheric in all of WorldSBK racing, with 2025 WorldSBK race winner at Assen, Andrea Locatelli, citing this as his favourite sector.“ The last part is the best part, with the grandstands full of people. It is a nice place to make an overtake in the last laps. When you arrive on the fast corners in Assen, before the final chicane, the full grandstand feels like you are entering an arena. And the end of the pit lane entry also has a grandstand on top of it, so it feels even more like an arena.”
