Every year , VHEDC recognizes local businesses that go above and beyond to serve the community . Normally , these awards are given out in person at a dinner party where hundreds come together to honor the winners .
Due to the pandemic , this year ’ s award ceremony had to move online . Winners were honored in a virtual awards ceremony held the evening of Oct . 28 , 2020 .
