I cheat a little everyday (not on my husband J) …but at least I’m honest!

1) So, tell us a little about yourself: Name, age (if you want), career…. Sandy Switzer, 35, Fitness Studio Owner
2) How did you get into fitness? In late 2008, I was laid off from a sales job, and decided that I might as well get into shape while I was off. I started living at the gym. Then the gym was running a contest and in order to win a free tee shirt, I was going to have to take group fitness classes which TERRIFIED me. I ended up taking a dance fitness class which I fell in love with right away, and I was HOOKED BAD. Three weeks later I decided that I should teach it! I started out at the gym and expanded from there.
3) Is fitness a challenge for you or did you always have it in you? I always found exercise boring as all get out until I found dance fitness. Now I enjoy many types of fitness.
4) What challenges do you face or have you faced maintaining your
fitness level? Because I have a hard time holding back, I workout when I teach, and I also struggle with plantar fasciitis, so sometimes I HAVE TO rest when I don't want to.
5) Now, why did you choose to teach House Party Fitness®? I saw a video online of Brooke doing "Salt Shaker", and that was IT. I had to see this class and bring it to Central PA! That was my club jam back in the day!
6) What kind of music do you listen to? What gets you pumped during
your workout? I always like to say that I listen to everything except polka and country. I like classical, nature, yoga music, jazz, big band, blues, world music, latin music, hip hop, rap, pop, and I really enjoy anything you can dance to. During my workout, I love songs with motivating lyrics, or pumpin' songs that "take me back".
7) What is your favorite song you choreographed yourself for House
