ALVARO BAUTISTA
A 125cc GP World Champion even before he entered the WorldSBK from the MotoGP category in 2019, Bautista was almost WorldSBK champion in his‘ rookie’ year. After deep disappointment and two tough seasons on an official Honda HRC machine, Bautista proved to be a convincing double champ when he made a prodigal return to the official Ducati squad in 2022 and 2023. A relatively difficult 2024 campaign, despite winning four races, saw him finish in overall third place, and last year was his final one in the factory Ducati team. Now in a highly respected Independent Team, another strong season seems entirely feasible.

WorldSBK RIDERS
ALEX LOWES
Arriving in WorldSBK in 2014 as the reigning BSB Champion, Lowes- the Alex version- had already raced in both the STK600 and STK1000 championships within the WorldSBK paddock in the early years of his career. Now a vastly experienced WorldSBK rider, he found himself the de facto lead rider in the KRT squad in 2024, after the departure of six-times champion Jonathan Rea. He won two races that year, before being the most experienced rider of the then-new bimota KB998. Podiums arrived last year, but will bimota race wins come his way in 2026?
