Kylie and I interviewed 8th grade students going on to be freshmen. These students have been debating on whether high school would be fun or not. We will get to the bottom of it. A majority of the students said that high school wasn’t going to be fun. Let’s find out why.
So we interviewed about 25 students and here are their views on high school. Most of the students said that it will be scary and the people are so much bigger than them. They also said that the kids probably sell narcotics or are going to hurt us lowerclassmen. 8th graders also think that we will have this thing called freshman fridays. Freshman Fridays is known as every Friday upperclassmen pick lower class students to haze or embarrass in front of others, it’s like a group bullying for freshmen.
Arianna and I go to the high school every other day for our advanced classes. Arianna takes spanish and I take geometry. We have a mix class of 8th graders and freshmen. The upperclassman look intimidating but are pretty nice when you get to know them. The teachers are great! The school itself is super safe and super fun. The grade principals are always around.
