Fahrenheit 451

By Madison Mencke

Montag is a fireman,

telling people that books are banned.

He didn't think anything was bad,

until he met Clarisse McClellan.

She asked Montag if he was happy and he thought,

until he realized that he was not.

Bombs are flying in the skies,

people are dropping dead like flies,

they won't stop until everyone dies,

so people should probably stay inside.

Montag met Faber a very wise man,

he told Montag to follow the plan.

But Montag ignored and showed Mildred's friends the books,

then he got angry when they refused to look.

Beatty told Montag not to quit,

but Montag knew what option to pick.

The station bell rang as sharp as a knife,

though Montag knew he wasn't going to fight.

They showed up at the house but Montag didn't want to stay,

until he noticed that it was his own place.

Mildred had turned him in,

until then he didn't know how scared she had been.

Montag killed Captain Beatty with the flip of a switch,

he had finally gotten rid of the terrible witch.

Faber told him to meet the hobos down the river,

As he traveled he began to shiver.

When he saw the fire he jumped as high as the sky,

I made it he thought I might actually survive.

The hobos we're welcoming him with open arms,

when they heard the bombs drop and put everyone in harm.

It's time to go on of the hobos told the committee,

we are now heading to the city.
