‫‪Jesus‬‬ ‫‪forgives‬‬ ‫‪sins‬‬
‫‪Jesus‬‬ ‫‪said‬‬ ‫‪to‬‬ ‫‪a‬‬ ‫‪paralyzed‬‬ ‫‪man‬‬
‫‪“your‬‬ ‫‪sins‬‬ ‫‪are‬‬ ‫‪forgiven”,‬‬ ‫‪which‬‬
‫‪angered‬‬ ‫‪the‬‬ ‫‪Jews.‬‬
‫‪But‬‬ ‫‪which‬‬ ‫‪is‬‬ ‫‪easier,‬‬ ‫‪to‬‬ ‫‪say‬‬ ‫‪“your‬‬
‫‪sins‬‬ ‫‪are‬‬ ‫”‪forgiven‬‬ ‫‪or‬‬ ‫‪“get‬‬ ‫‪up‬‬ ‫‪and‬‬
‫‪walk”.‬‬
‫‪Jesus‬‬ ‫‪healed‬‬ ‫‪the‬‬ ‫‪man‬‬ ‫‪to‬‬ ‫‪show‬‬ ‫‪that‬‬
‫‪God‬‬ ‫‪gave‬‬ ‫‪him‬‬ ‫‪authority‬‬ ‫‪to‬‬ ‫‪forgive‬‬
‫‪sins.‬‬
