Luxuriously decorated woolen carpets of this city were intended for the court in Istanbul and were highly evaluated in Europe . These masterpieces have a variety of artistic compositions : ushak with a medallion , ushak with stars , ushak with a bird , ushak chintamani . The main colours for the medallion are bright blue and red , and yellow in the stems of the floral ornament .
MILAS
The district is famous for its special prayer rugs with a strict geometric pattern and a pointed mihrab niche , which is called an arrowhead . Brickred central field with a niche contrasts with an ivory upper part , decorated with stylised images of flowers .
