The largest of river stations has appeared in 1937. From a
distance the architecture of the station reminds the ship
plowing waves, with the high mast spike topped with the star
which was earlier on the most important tower of the Moscow
Kremlin. Easy graceful galleries give a cool in hot day, and the
sickle and a hammer of a spike which are richly inlaid with the
Ural semi-precious stones blow the mind. The special attention
is deserved by decoratively mayolikovy panel on a facade
representing "Moscow of the future" as it was seen spent the
30th years. It is possible to reach the Northern river station
by the subway – near him there is a station with the speaking
name "River Station".
SOUTHERN STATION  
The second river station of the city – Southern – is built in
1972 in a green zone of the Nagatinskiy flood plain. Today the
station is used for implementation of transportation of freights
and rare passenger traffic on the ring line: Moscow — Bitter
and Moscow — Ryazan.
MOSCOW MOORINGS 
Besides large river stations in Moscow there are also small
moorings of river trams. Walks by such ships – one of the
most beloved entertainments of Muscovites. Residents of the
capital think of a hometown panorama so much that they ride
across the Moskva River even in the winter, the benefit, for this
purpose in the city is even yachts ice breakers on which, by
the way, there are also floating restaurants.
