Now I divide class in two teams. Every team should name different variants, what we
can do around the house. Those team wins, that names more variant. Ready? Go!
Different variants what can be called:
- Make the bed
- Take the rubbish out
- Lay the table
- Do the shopping
- Do the ironing
- Do the washing up
- To vacuum
- Cook dinner/ supper
- To water flowers
- Tidy the room
- Dust the furniture
- To sweep the floor
- To mop the floor

The next task: you need to make a sentence with these words in English and your
neighbour will translate it.
6. Игра “Snap” (классическая игра для закрепления новой лексики)
Before the lesson the teacher prepares the flashcards (five copies of each picture –
print and cut).
The rule. The kids are sitting in a circle. The teacher puts the cards in a pile face down
in front of the kids. One by one pupils take one card from the pile and name the word. When
someone takes the same object as the pupil right before him, it is a snap. Everyone can touch
the pile and say: ―Snap!‖. The one who did it first, and whose hand is beneath the hands of
other pupils wind all the cards, which were collected during this round.
