The psychology of the characters "Zhaukhar" allegedly remained closed. For
example, a character’s love for a green-eyed guy causes mistrust, and there is no
warmth in the description. But in a little story not a character is covered, but a
biography. You "understand" the life of the deceased Zhaukhar, who became
pregnant by an unloving guy, and the life of a girlfriend who could not help her,
and the life of the green-eyed, who made one unhappy and could not become a
consolation for the second.
The peculiarity of Ayagul is that in any of her stories there are valuable
thoughts about the essence of existence, about the birth of the universe, about the
essence of man. “I feel awake in a dream, and sleeping while awake. I feel hot in
cold weather and cold in hot weather” says the character of “Zhaukhar”. Why do
say so? Because in most cases the life becomes alarming, that wants to say "let it
be my dream". Why are the characters of Ayagul sad? How does a person become
happy? You feel the great loneliness of the characters from two stories. "We make
our lives difficult" says one of the characters. Life really becomes complicated
when you get into the same space with her characters. And who said that it is a
simple… [3, 58 p.].
"Grave flower" is about the first sensation of death by man. One wise man had
surprise, “My most miserable day is the day when I realized that all people are
mortal. How do adults continue to live as nothing had happened, knowing that
everything in the world will disappear?” The first death which the “Grave flower”
character that faced was the death of a hunchbacked old man who amused them.
And when he learns that all people are mortal, he starts asking questions to adults.
"Why don't people live for 600-800 years?" ...
The key of a successful story is narration on behalf of a child. Therefore, the
language, style is quite simple. Dialogues are not conditional, but real:
“- We take it. We will not leave our ancestors in your graves, - they said in
"chorus".
- When will you take?
- Take away today!
- Do not leave for tomorrow, otherwise ...
- What will you do otherwise?
- What else is there in your village besides graves? Your village is deprived of
the culture.
- Why are you so hide revenge to each other? Sooner or later we will all lie
down in these graves” [3, 54 p.].
As in “Depression”: Despite the absence of such abuse as “you are like a
butterfly,” “you are like an insect,” Ayagul’s own perception also plunges into
thoughts in this story. For example, read:
“I still remember how long I cried sitting in a corn field on that day. Saying “it
turns out our life is like a corn” I keep on crying” [3, 54 p.].
It is noticeable that there is an impact of the European worldview towards our
nation living in the period of globalization. In particular, this story of prose writer
Ayagul Mantayeva clearly shows the influence of the western tradition in our
essence. As a rule, a Kazakh Muslim reads the Koran at the grave, pouring sand.
But the characters of Ayagul want to insert a flower at the grave.
In “Grave flower” the writer uses the western mythical element as artistic detail.
Regarding the red flower it is introduced the story about Napoleon and Josephine.
Now what is the western mythical detail?
