Puberty
Puberty is the stage of life when children start growing up and slowly become adults. At this stage of life, boys and girls are not children anymore, but adolescents. However, the majority of people believe that adolescents find this period easy, but they really don’t. In fact, they come up against problems and difficult decisions.
In my opinion, a main problem that adolescents face is pressure from different people. On the one hand, they get pressure by their parents and on the other hand by their peers. As we all know, teens want to be widely accepted and liked by their friends. Thus, in order to achieve this, they do what everyone else does, even though they may not want to do this. And this is the point where pressure from parents comes. Parents are the ones who influence them on what kind of friends to make, so as to prevent bad things from happening, as they think. So if they realize that their kid goes out with teens that do nasty things, then they would not allow them to go out again. Afterwards, it is also possible, that their friends would challenge the kid to sneak out of the house and do wrong things. In other words, adolescents are forced with a lot of pressure from both sides.
Nevertheless, everyone should bear in mind that adolescents are in the search of themselves. This means, that they have to make serious decisions, which might also be critical for their future, decisions such as what career they want to follow and what to do for a living. In my view, adolescents do not need to be under pressure by their parents. They are mature enough to know what they want to do. They understand what kind of friends they should make and they also know that their friends will affect their behavior and way of thinking. For that reason, parents do not have to be anxious about their future, they have to trust them more.
To sum up, teenagers have to deal with so many issues, however weird they might seem. It is the period when they start turning into adults, with whatever this comes hand in hand. Apart from the pressure they get from parents and peers, deeply inside they do know what the right thing to do is.
