pose. I specifically chose examples commonplace in our lives and presented purely their negative side. I specifically chose those examples though because for every pessimistic interpretation there is an equally optimistic one.
Work doesn’ t need to be purely daunting, in fact, there is significantly much to gain from it. When in your teens, you don’ t need to look back and blame your younger self for believing life now is easier. After all, it would seem that that young kid was really smart in saying so, since life doesn’ t need to be hard, it’ s just that other factors make it be that way.
Living in your own imaginary world doesn’ t have to be you just being delusional: nothing would exist without imagination, without hope, without innovation. Imagination serves as inspiration for those who are able to make use of it. Strive to be one of those people.
Rejection from your crush doesn’ t mean the end of the world either, although that doesn’ t sound very empathetic now, does it? Well, it’ s not meant to be realistic, but rather idealistic. In that case, moving on is an option. Past experiences serve as lessons through which we can mature and use to our advantage in the future. You never know what the future holds for you, but trust me when I say that you will be thankful you learnt the lesson in advance, once the time comes.
That being said, a situation turns negative once it is perceived as such and from that point on, going back is impossible and moving on is equally as hard. As Tame Impala puts it in one of his songs,“ Every man is happy until happiness is suddenly a goal”, signifying how a person is only unhappy when they realise it...
