ΑΠΟΤΥΠΩΜΑΤΑ
We love Athens !!
Athens is not just a city . It is a union of many different cities joined by common roads . The resident of Glyfada declares himself an Athenian , and so does the resident of Korydallos . But they really have nothing to do with each other . The western suburbs are the most charming . There are also places where you say you are in the Greek countryside . The antiquities you come across on a random walk , the people who welcome you heartily , the neighborhoods that don ’ t sleep at night and the squares that buzz with life on weekends are some of the elements that fascinate .
Athens is a city with special vibes , with a long history , with enchanting beauty that immediately wins a place in everyone ’ s hearts . It is a blessed place and it is no coincidence that those who visit it , want to keep coming back to it . Its picture from above may not be impressive . It doesn ’ t have the greenery and freedom of spaces that other European cities have , because the Greeks equated development with cement ! But if you get to know the culture of Athens , you will find in every corner small clearings of its beauty .
In spite of Athens beauty and charm , it is an overcrowded and noisy city . The pace of life is rapid and very tiring . There are cars and motorcycles everywhere , making life for residents difficult . Furthermore , there is a lack of green spaces in Athens . Neighborhoods are crowded with many tall apartment buildings and with very few parks . Families and young children have nowhere to go to enjoy the outdoors . In addition , some parts of Athens are not visually pleasant . There are many old , abandoned buildings and many surfaces are covered with graffiti . However the positive points of Athens far outweigh the negative ones . Athenians love their city and would not trade it for any other . To be an Athenian is to be blessed !
