Public Place retailer: Shops located in public spaces such as parks, museums, train stations/airports and galleries. For example WHSniths, Burger King etc.
Supermarket: Larger store, it sells groceries, some sell non-food merchandise, it also has self-service, at least 3 check outs and a car park. For example, Tesco, Asda and Morrisons.
