Out - of - town location of retailers would be for me; Westfield shopping centre in London. The target market for this retailer is massive, they vary from luxury goods to cheap goods and all the inbetween. They have there local people and people from all around that travel to go to this shopping cantre. The pricing strategies for the stores within this location vary due to the fact that they are all completely different.
The nearest shopping mall to my house is the ''centre;MK'' shopping centre. It is a large shopoing centre where you are able to go and have a day out, their are many places where you can eat and drink. Whether that be a quick grab off food or drink from the nearest, boots, Mcdonalds or Burger King or a nice sit down meal in the restaurants that they have located throughout the shopping centre, such as, Pizza Express, carluccios and Nandos. They always have some sort of entertainment whethere it be at midsummer place where you can go and see santas grotto and go to the beach that gets located there in the summer! Theshopping cantre caters for a range of target market, it has many transport links close by such as the train station and bus station, as well as lots of things to do for all ages ! Not forgetting the most important part of the shops! The majority of the shops will work on competitive pricing strategy due to the fact ththeyre in a an enclosed place next to eachother.
