!
favourite venues, so playing
there was awesome. Was
great to play on the same
stage that Jamie T, one of
my favourite artists, played
on a few years back. I always
freestyle in my set, the
audience got involved, it was
cool.

8. Are there any particular
musicians who influence
you and your style of
music?
I'm influenced a lot by 80’s
music at the moment, I love
the festival feel of songs
where you’re drunk with
your friends singing along.
I’ve been listening to a lot of
The Lumineers, Lewis
Watson, Matt Woods and
The 1975 recently."
9. What is it like recording
with Ed Sheeran’s team?!
It's an awesome experience
I’ve always loved Ed’s music
and I feel like the guys down
there are just awesome. It's
like a song writing
sanctuary. I kinda fan-girled
at first, but now it's cool. I
knocked one of Ed’s plaques
down whilst dancing to my
new song like an idiot…"

it. You don't need any
money or anything
with music.”
10. What music are you
currently listening to? !
I'm loving a lot of music
right now, I feel like singer
songwriters are really
getting a chance. George
Ezra has awesome music
out, Lewis Watson’s EPs
I’ve loved since day 1, Matt
Woods’s new stuff is always
crazy cool, then on the other
side there's a lot of Prince,
Adam and the Ants, Phil
Collins.."
11. Is there any advice you
could give to newly
aspiring musicians?
Enjoy it. Write songs about
what you know about, not
what you think people will
like. If you love something
enough you will have it. You
don't need any money or
anything with music. I
started writing music using
my Nan's computer to
record, just write record and
enjoy the free beer, there's
lots of it.
A massive thank you to
Momoko Hill for enabling this
interview and of course Matt
for answering our questions!
