5. Conclusion
The purpose of this
research is to propose an
expansion of “cyclic type of
rental housing” for the
rehabilitation
of
aging
residences in Korea
Despite the will of local
governments
and
the
demands of local residents, the
construction
and
improvement of houses is a

difficult problem when it
comes to old houses. In this case, rental houses can be planned using empty land or small block spaces
in the area. They can be used to remodel or reconstruct the homes of local residents. In other words, it
can promote gradual neighbourhood regeneration. In this study, this type of rental apartment was
proposed, and three types of programs were proposed.
