Introduction
Birds are wonderful creatures
that have been here down on
earth from the prehistoric
age. Even though this type of
animal is very old, they have
been in an evolution changing
characteristics from their antic
age. All people have found
different species of birds that
make them unique and different.
This is interesting for studying
about them: their skeleton,
feathers, muscular system, beaks
and wings. They are all very
interesting topics you should
learn to see the magic with basic
knowledge about them. We have
made an experiment, using
important facts about birds.
This experiment has inspired
us to learn more about birds
specifically what type of food
they prefer. We are comparing
pumpkin and sunflower seeds.
This experiment is important
because
it
will
improve
our knowledge about birds
and someday we hope our
experiment will give a positive

change to our modern world.
Now that we changed their
food, we can’t change any
other variables, otherwise, the
experiment data chart will make
no sense to the experiment in
general. That’s why we will have
the same type of bird house and
location. We are choosing this
variable because it makes a big
impact on the birds’ preferences.
We want to find out what type of
food birds prefer in our natural
and biological garden.
Question: Do birds
prefer sunflower seeds
or pumpkin seeds?
Hypothesis:
If we put two different seeds
(sunflower and pumpkin seeds)
in the same location, then birds
would eat more of sunflower
because they have a good size
for eating because the pumpkin

seeds are much bigger and harder
to eat.
