With shopping on mobiles becoming increasingly popular and accounting for 60% of online purchases, like Zara have brought out their own apps to make it much easier for customers to shop with them.

Some luxury brands such as Burberry have started to introduce interactive technology into their stores, this includes virtual changing rooms. This could help to entice customers to go into their stores and create more of an experience when you enter their stores.

It has quickly become essential for brands to have an online offering along with their bricks and mortar stores, with online shopping accounting for 7.4% of all retail sales which is set to grow to 12.4 by 2019.
