The terrorism threat from Isis in Syria could put our bricks and mortar stores at risk if there was an attack. As Zara's main stores are based in cities this could deter customers from coming into the city to visit their stores, as they may be cautious about going to high risk areas in case of an attack.
This could also have an impact on whether Zara still decide to source from Turkey as it becomes a more unstable region. Zara ay have to find another country to source these products that are produced in Turkey for a higher price for a similar quality
Brexit negotiations will start in March when article 50 is evoked. This will affect how Zara trade with countries that are part of the EU, so retailers could incur tariffs from these countries
