BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS (BBBS) & CONNECT 4 (C4) Big Brothers Big Sisters Youth Mentoring Program matches vulnerable and socially isolated young people aged 7-17 with positive adult role models. They participate in community based mentoring activities together around once a week for 12 months. To complement the BBBS program YWCA provides Connect-4 Group Mentoring to support young people on the waiting list. This year:  132 young people were supported in one to one mentoring matches and C4 Group Mentoring Days  66 volunteers participated in BBBS matches and C4 Group Days  22 new 12 month mentoring matches commenced  A survey of parents or guardians of Big Brothers Big Sisters participants found that 75% felt that their relationship with their child had improved as a result of the program, and  100% of parents/guardians surveyed would recommend the program to others.
